Coyote Innovation Village

Overview

Coyote Innovation Village is a proposed public-private partnership model centered at California State University, San Bernardino. Designed as a hub for inclusive tech, entrepreneurship, and workforce development, the initiative aims to transform the campus into a living lab for innovation and equitable economic mobility.

Origin Story

The project emerged from a vision to position universities as equity anchors in underserved regions. Valentine Strategy was brought in to co-develop early strategy, build narrative alignment, and ensure the development prioritized local value creation over traditional top-down models.

Execution Highlights

• Co-led equity-centered planning and narrative development with CSUSB leadership

• Positioned Web3 Women Venture Studio as lead for inclusive entrepreneurship programming

• Developed early strategic models for space activation, community governance, and capital access

• Supported stakeholder alignment and proposal development for a long-term P3 structure

Outcome

Coyote Innovation Village is actively shaping a blueprint for place-based innovation led by community insight and institutional partnership. While still in development, the project has already laid the groundwork for inclusive governance, equity-driven ventures, and long-term systems change.
