Overview
Coyote Innovation Village is a proposed public-private partnership model centered at California State University, San Bernardino. Designed as a hub for inclusive tech, entrepreneurship, and workforce development, the initiative aims to transform the campus into a living lab for innovation and equitable economic mobility.
Origin Story
The project emerged from a vision to position universities as equity anchors in underserved regions. Valentine Strategy was brought in to co-develop early strategy, build narrative alignment, and ensure the development prioritized local value creation over traditional top-down models.
Execution Highlights
Co-led equity-centered planning and narrative development with CSUSB leadership
Positioned Web3 Women Venture Studio as lead for inclusive entrepreneurship programming
Developed early strategic models for space activation, community governance, and capital access
Supported stakeholder alignment and proposal development for a long-term P3 structure
Outcome
Coyote Innovation Village is actively shaping a blueprint for place-based innovation led by community insight and institutional partnership. While still in development, the project has already laid the groundwork for inclusive governance, equity-driven ventures, and long-term systems change.
